Enable 2-Step Verification In Dropbox Account

Enable 2-Step Verification In Dropbox Account :

Dropbox is the most popular cloud storage service for personal and professional use. Hacking accounts with phishing websites, keyloggers and other spy softwares is soaring. To counter these activities 2 Step verification is implemented by many major websites like Google, Yahoo and Facebook. In 2 step verification a user has to enter his password and
then a security code which is sent to your phone automatically. So even if someone knows your password , your account will still be inaccessible due the security code.

Steps to Enable 2-step verification In Dropbox Account :

1)To enable 2 step verification, open this link:https://www.dropbox.com/help/363/en
and sign into your account.
2)Now go to Settings and and click on the Security option.
3)Scroll down the page till you see the 2 step verification option and enable it.
4)This is a security feature so it will prompt you to enter password. 5)Now you will have two options to add the extra security layer
i) Code by text message
ii) Code by mobile app
6)Select code by text message option and enter your phone number. Shortly you will receive the verification pin via sms
7)Enter the pin to verify your phone number and activate 2 step verification
8)You will also get a backup code which can be used to bypass sms verification code which will come in handy in case of mobile theft or out of network conditions.
