After Twitter,Google Adopts Country Specific Content Censoring

After Twitter,Google Adopts Country Specific Content Censoring :

Amid raging controversy over content censoring Google also seems to bowed down from pressure by countries like India, brazil etc and has decided to opt for country code Top level domains (ccLTD)for its widely used blogger platform.

Blogger was launched in 1999 and since then it has been the major free blogging platform. It has also supplemented the number of AdSense publisher which increased the revenue for Google.
However recently Twitter announced that it can censor content by country basis which was widely protested over internet as Twitter was seen as the major pillar for free speech.Google tried to adopt a similar policy but without creating much controversy.
Now when you open any blogger's blog it automatically redirects to its country specific sub-domain .If google receives a legal complaint against the content of any blog it will be blocked in that particular region. However it will still be available in the rest of the world.

This way the Google is trying to promote free speech as well as taking the safety measures to protect a ban or penalties in countries that have objected to Google’s content.
